Florence Etta-AkinAina is an experienced international development expert, lecturer and researcher with over 25 years’ experience in evaluation, research, grant making, programme management and CSO organising and management.
She was President of the African Evaluation Association between March 2009 and January 2012, and Chair of the Africa Gender & Development Evaluators Network (AGDEN) from 2006 -2012; Vice Chair from 2012 until 2017. Currently a member of over 6 national and international Evaluation Associations including the Nigerian Association of Evaluators and the American Evaluation Association, Florence served on the Board of the International Development Evaluation Association – IDEAS for six years. She has served on the UN Women Global Evaluation Advisory Committee since 2015 and is currently its Chair.
