We undertake research, evaluation, and monitoring consultancies for projects, programmes, policies, etc., with the primary aim of supporting learning for the primary users, commissioners, and proximal partners. Our work in this regard is rooted in gender equality and equity. It is often the case that research is said to be gender-neutral. However, in reality, gender neutrality often translates into gender blindness. Gender blindness can result in gender-based discrimination. At GIC Ltd, we make sure that the research we undertake interrogates issues from gender and intersectionality perspectives.
